Vantage Data Centers has launched the fourth and final building at its data center campus outside Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The company this week announced that its fourth facility (KUL14) on the company’s first Cyberjaya campus in Malaysia is now operational. The 16MW data center is fully leased to a single unnamed customer.

The launch of KUL14 marks the final completion of the KUL1 campus. The 6-acre site offers 31MW across four buildings (KUL11, 12, 13, and 14), totaling 463,000 sq ft (63,000 sqm).

Vantage’s APAC portfolio includes 1GW of operational and planned IT capacity across Australia, Malaysia, Japan, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.

Vantage entered the APAC market in 2021 after DigitalBridge acquired PCCW’s data center business and merged both it and AgileDC into Vantage.

The original KUL1 site was taken over by Vantage as part of the PCCW acquisition. PCCW acquired the KUL11 data center in 2020 after buying MyTelehaus, which launched the original building in 2011. KUL12 opened in 2022 and started work on KUL13 the same year.

A second Cyberjaya campus, the 256MW KUL2, is also in development. The company also has another Malaysian development in Johor (recently acquired from sister company Yondr).
