In recent years there has been numerous plaudits and congratulatory commentary on the efforts from cloud giants and REITs to supercharge their sustainability strategy from grid to server. However, given the growing importance of the sector, it is imperative to look beyond the industry ‘insider’ view to ascertain whether the sector is doing enough, fast enough to repel climate change.

To answer this question, we ventured outside of the industry to pull together a panel of sustainability gurus with adjacent focuses to chime in with their views on the roadmap for the zero-carbon data center, a greener ‘cloud’, waste reduction and circularity.
