Polish data center firm Atman has launched a new campus outside Warsaw.

“Today, we are celebrating the grand opening of the Atman Data Center WAW-3 campus in Duchnice, near Warsaw, Poland,” the company said on LinkedIn this week.

First announced in December 2022, the company broke ground on the 5.5-acre site in October 2023. The site was due to launch in Q4 2024.

The first phase of the campus offers 14.4MW of IT capacity, fully offset by renewable power.

At full build-out, the campus will total 19,000 square meters (202,200 sq ft) of colocation space and 43MW of IT power across three buildings, with capacity for more than 50,000 servers.

The company said the campus will see a total of PLN 2.5 billion ($689m) invested across the three phases.

Atman has been operating in Poland since 2011. Atman (formerly ATM) was acquired by Goldman Sachs-affiliated Global Compute and Taviomer Investments from MCI.EuroVentures in 2020.

The company currently operates four sites across Poland: Three in Warsaw and one in Katowice.
