NTT Ltd has completed the shell of its second building within its Munich 2 data center campus.
The 14MW building is scheduled to go online later this year and will provide around 6,200 sq m (66,000 sq ft) of colo space in the German town of Unterschleißheim outside Munich, Bavaria.
NTT's Global Data Centers division CEO for EMEA, Florian Winkler, said: “We are constantly expanding and investing in new facilities across our regions.
“The Munich area is the economical and digital hub of Southern Germany and a strong economic powerhouse. Our client base in the region is constantly growing and our existing clients have a strong demand for additional data center capacity."
Like all of NTT Ltd’s latest data centers, the facility will feature an Innovation Lab which will allow customers to try out new software on their servers and test new gear.
