A significant service disruption has impacted Ukrtelecom, Ukraine's national telecoms operator.
The widespread issues come after a telecoms blackout in Sumy Oblast, and severe service disruptions in Kherson Oblast, as Russian forces damage power and telecoms infrastructure as part of a brutal invasion.
"Confirmed: Major disruption registered on Ukraine's national telecoms operator Ukrtelecom; provider reports combat damage impacting service to Chernihiv, Sumy, Kherson, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Rivne, Volyn, Khmelnytsia, Lviv, Ternopil," Internet outage monitoring group NetBlocks said.
Ukrtelecom is Ukraine's monopolist telephone company, and also provides Internet and mobile services.
