Amajit Gupta is a Hi-Tech industry global professional associated with  IT & Telecom domain for past 25 + years  and passionate believer in the role of technology in changing lives in emerging economies like India and South Asia. Amajit currently works with a US based Private Equity firm  Isquared Capital as their CEO for telecom and IT investments in  India in Lightstorm Telecom Ventures Pvt Limited . He has worked as MD ,CEO and Country Head  with large tech global multinationals like Juniper Networks, Microsoft India , Alcatel Lucent ( now Nokia) ,Motorola. He started his career in   Tata  Group company  and is an Electronics Engineer from  Regional Engineering College ( now VNIIIT) in Nagpur with advanced management training from XLRI and Cornell  University.

Amajit  is also  a part-time an angel investor and has worked with young teams in emerging areas like Cybersecurity , and wireless analytics . Amajit is considered an industry thought leader and has been involved in policy and tech advocacy in many government, industry and media forums across this region.

He was nominated by Indian Media House – Hindustan Times and Haryana State government as India’s top 10, IT and telecom technologist for 2013 and 2014.
