Moroccan operator N+One Datacenters (N+One) is planning a new data center in Casablanca.
The company last week announced it had signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministère de la Transition Numérique et de la Réforme de l'Administration (MTNRA) and the Ministry of Investment, Convergence and Evaluation of Public Policies for the construction of a new data center in Casablanca.
The new 2,000 sqm (21,525 sq ft) facility will be operational later in 2024. It will reportedly be located at Nouaceur.
Founded in 2008, Casablanca-based N+One operates two data centers in Morocco and announced plans for three data centers in Senegal in the capital Darkar in 2021. It has previously suggested plans for a facility in Nigeria.
African infrastructure private equity firm African Infrastructure Investment Managers (AIIM) is an investor in N+One.
