"Reaching this milestone reflects our continued commitment to investing in communities that are positioned for long-term growth," said Bryant Farland, CEO of Edged US. "Council Bluffs offers the infrastructure, workforce, and business environment needed to support large-scale digital infrastructure development, and we're proud to be expanding our presence in the region. This campus represents a significant investment in the local economy and underscores our confidence in the future of the Omaha-Council Bluffs market."

Edged is working with Turner Construction and Jacobs on the two facilities.

Edged broke ground on the site in October 2025. The company previously said the first building was topped out in July.

Known as Project Lola, Edged is developing two buildings, each spanning around 285,445 sq ft (26,520 sqm). Located at College Rd and E Kanesville Blvd, the site will reportedly total around 200MW.

Council Bluffs is a city on Iowa's western border and close to Omaha, Nebraska. The Edged site was previously approved for a logistics park in 2021, but the land remained undeveloped.

Edged was set up by Aligned founder Jakob Carnemark. Edged’s US entity, Edged US, is also a portfolio company of Koch Real Estate Investments, according to Koch Inc.’s website.

In the US, Edged has data centers either operating or in development across Missouri, Arizona, Texas, Georgia, Iowa, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Illinois. It also has a small project planned in Alabama.

Edged also has another Iowa campus in development outside Des Moines.
