A data center is up for sale outside Danbury, Connecticut.
Ryer Associates is offering 6 Berkshire Blvd in Bethel, Fairfield County, as up for sale. The listed price is $625,000. Owner financing is reportedly available. Update: the price has been reduced to $599,000.
Built in 1975, the 11,230 sq ft (1,045 sqm) ground floor facility in the Berkshire Corporate Park is currently configured as a data center and office recovery site.
The 500kW facility has the capacity for 100 racks – though the sales brochure notes the site has capacity to cool 75 racks at 2kW and 50 racks at 3kW.
Set on 2.8 acres, the overall building totals 45,000 sq ft (4,180 sqm) across three floors.
The building features a 150kW Cummins generator and Mitsubishi UPS, and has fiber connections from AT&T and Crown Castle/Lightower.
Ryer said the space could also be suitable for office or light assembly use. Additional space is also available.
Images of the facility suggest it was previously used by Datagram. Datagram was acquired by SingleHop in 2015, which itself was acquired by Internap in 2018. After filing for bankruptcy in 2023, Internap has rebranded to HorizonIQ.
