Anthropic has amended its Form S-1 filing with the SEC, adding details on the latest quarter's earnings.
Ahead of an imminent public listing, the company disclosed Q3 results of $17 billion in revenue, up about 1,127 percent over last year. However, revenue growth slowed on a quarter-to-quarter basis to 47 percent - down from 144 percent growth in Q2 and 132 percent in Q1.
Anthropic also reported a net loss of $23.29bn in its third quarter.
Also updated were its financial commitments, previously listed at $417bn for compute. Now, the company said its purchase commitments and lease agreements have an aggregate committed spend of about $895.4 billion, “substantially all of which is related to compute and infrastructure.”
The company's compute and infrastructure expenses increased to $14.4bn for the nine months ended Sept. 30, up 329 percent over last year.
Anthropic is expected to have more than 3.5GW of compute this year, the New York Times reports, with a similar amount due in 2027.
According to its prospectus, it has committed $121.3bn to lease compute from Google, $120.5bn from SpaceX, $110bn from Amazon, and $44.9bn from Microsoft.
The deals with Google, Amazon, and Microsoft are mostly non-cancelable outside of uncured material breaches, and must be paid regardless of actual usage. The SpaceX deal is cancelable with 90 days' notice from next March.
In addition to the Google deal, Anthropic is set to procure additional TPU compute, either through a Google Cloud deal, a direct purchase from Google with five-year financing, or through a partner. That compute, expected between 2028 and 2031, could cost $125-150bn, and is not a part of the $895bn calculation.
Outside of the hyperscalers, Anthropic has signed a $44.6bn deal with neocloud Nscale until 2033 and $41.3bn with Lambda until 2034. However, Nscale is required to try to obtain qualifying financing for its Nvidia GPUs, while Lambda will have to secure its facility lease in a timely manner.
It has also entered into a $50 billion deal with Fluidstack, as well as contracts with TeraWulf and Hut 8.
Anthropic did not mention its $11.6bn cloud deal with Akamai, nor its compute agreement with CoreWeave.
The prospectus also reiterated its hardware supply agreement with AMD, where the chip designer is on track to buy $5bn in Anthropic shares. That will happen in stages, based on AMD GPU delivery and deployment milestones.
