This category is open to any new data center build project where the construction team was assembled and has been working on a project completed within the previous 12 months (1st September 2022 and 1st September 2023). The judging panel will be looking to shortlist teams that have overcome regulatory, supply chain, technical or other major challenges during the process, to deliver projects on-time and on-budget. They will have demonstrated flexibility, initiative and commitment in dealing with any obstacles to deliver quality results that meet recognized standards within projected timeframes.

Who can enter?

Teams can be submitted from data center operators / end-users. Architects, consulting engineers and contractors can nominate construction teams on behalf of their clients and assist in the preparation of the entry.

This award will be presented jointly to the end-user/operator who commissioned the data center and the head(s) of the team responsible for its construction.
