I’m in charge of helping Vertiv expand in the fast-growing market of modular data centre technologies, including prefabricated modular data centres and “micro” data centres. Factory-built modular data centres are in growing demand by businesses of all sizes as a faster and more flexible alternative to traditional data centres. Modular technologies are expected to play a key role in supporting “Edge” computing, 5G mobile networks, artificial intelligence and Internet of Things (IoT) devices.

In 2021, Vertiv, one of the leading suppliers in the modular data centre market, built a new facility in Croatia to support growing demand for modular data centres. The investment will more than double the production capacity of Vertiv’s prefabricated modular data centres in EMEA and enable further easy expansions.

I’ve a particular interest in developing Vertiv’s “Smart Mod” platform for deploying small IT rooms of critical assets, improving the sustainability of digital infrastructure, high-density computing, and developing new technologies for Vertiv and our customers. Croatia-based. EMEA role.
