Colby Synesael

Managing Director, Senior Equity Research Analyst, Cowen

Colby Synesael is a managing director and senior research analyst specializing in the communications infrastructure and telecom services industries at Cowen. Mr. Synesael has been covering the communications infrastructure and telecom services industries as a senior research analyst since 2006. Prior to joining Cowen in March 2010, he was at Kaufman Brothers and before that spent nearly three years at Merriman Curhan Ford. From 2001 to January 2006 he worked at Thomas Weisel Partners, spending his last three years as a research associate covering communications infrastructure and telecom services. Before joining Thomas Weisel, Mr. Synesael spent a brief period working at Allegiance Telecom.

He holds a BS from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.
