Bob Salter

Faculty Member, Sonoma State University Engineering

Bob Salter is an Energy Systems Consultant with over four decades of power-centric experience in sales and marketing, design, construction, and commissioning. Bob serves on the Engineering Department faculty at Sonoma State University as a volunteer Professor and as a member of their Industry Advisory Board. He is a Life Senior Member of IEEE, past Council Chairman and currently serves as Treasurer of Oakland East Bay Section. Bob received his BS-EE from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1976, his MBA (with concentration in Finance) from San Francisco State University 1982 and is a Registered Professional Electrical Engineer (State of California) since 1993. Over the last 15 years, Bob has participated in design and delivery of 100+ major projects in industrial and datacenter segments, with foci on electrical power distribution, monitoring, controls, and protection, from substation to server.
