Alex de Vries

Alex de Vries is a researcher at the School of Business and Economics at
the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. His research focusses on the
environmental sustainability of crypto-assets and blockchain technology.
In 2014 he founded digiconomist.net, which provides estimates on various
sustainability metrics for cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum
and Dogecoin.
