President Donald Trump has blamed AT&T for technical issues he had during a conference call this week.

Trump was on a call with American faith leaders, where he claimed to have suffered from technical problems on Monday (June 30).

He took to his social media platform, Truth Social, to take aim at AT&T.

"I'm doing a major Conference Call with Faith Leaders from all over the Country, and AT&T is totally unable to make their equipment work properly," Trump wrote yesterday.

"This is the second time it's happened. If the Boss of AT&T, whoever that may be, could get involved - It would be good. There are tens of thousands of people on the line!"

Trump went on to say that he will look to reschedule the call for another time, but will use a different network operator. The other two major US carriers are Verizon and T-Mobile.

AT&T's CEO is John Stankey. He's been in charge of the carrier since July 2020.

In response, AT&T said it contacted the White House to discuss the issue, before noting that its network was not to blame.

"Our initial analysis indicates the disruption was caused by an issue with the conference call platform, not our network. Unfortunately, this caused the delay, and we are working diligently to better understand the issue so we can prevent disruptions in the future," said AT&T on X.
