Biz Times reports that investor group KCMJ Investments LLC sold the 3.3-acre plot and facility at 3701 W. Burnham St. for $4.66 million to Milwaukee-based WSP Burnham LLC. TierPoint has reached out to DCD to confirm it will be remaining in the facility after the change in landlord.

The 70,000 sq ft (6,500 sqm) site, built in 2001, is currently operated by TierPoint, and according to the company has more than 26,000 sqft (2,400 sqm) of total usable space and more than 3,600 sq ft (334sqm) of raised floor space. There are other, non-data center tenants – including GRAFF Meridian International – in the rest of the property.

TierPoint took over the facility when it acquired Cosentry in January 2016. TierPoint acquired operations at nine data centers as part of the deal when it bought the company from TA Associates, which acquired Cosentry in 2011. Cosenury acquired the facility in 2014 when it bought RedAnvil LLC. TierPoint completed a 17,640 sq ft (1600 sqm) extension to the building in 2016.

Last month TierPoint announced plans to build a 23,000 square foot (2,100 sq m), Tier III data center in the Westport area of St. Louis County, Missouri.
