Data center firm T5 has filed for a new data center campus outside Atlanta, Georgia.
The company this week filed a DRI application with the Georgia Department of Community Affairs for a data center in Fairburn, Fulton County, to the southwest of Atlanta.
The company is looking to build two two-story buildings totaling 495,000 sq ft. Little other details are available. The estimated project time is listed as one month.
T5 currently operates the T5@Atlanta site at 1456 Trae Lane outside Atlanta in Lithia Springs.
Atlanta is a major data center hub with operators including Microsoft, CoreSite, QTS, DataBank, Flexential, Switch, DC Blox, Edged Energy, Stack, T5, Vantage, and EdgeConneX.
A company with links to Strategic Real Estate Partners filed a DRI for a three-building campus in Fairburn in May.
Elsewhere in Georgia, T5 previously announced plans for a large campus in Augusta, but has since pulled out of the project, with a new developer taking over the site.
