Australian neocloud Sharon AI is planning to deploy a 1,000-strong Nvidia B200 cluster at NextDC’s M3 data center in Melbourne, Australia.

The announcement comes almost three months after the company announced it had signed a 50MW capacity expansion agreement with NextDC, building on an existing agreement between the two companies, via which Sharon already leases space at the M3 facility.

Sharon AI hosts its "Supercluster" at M3, which is expected to ultimately total more than 20,000 Nvidia B200, B300, or GB300 GPUs. Currently, that cluster has some 1,000 GPUs live. The neocloud has not provided a timeline for when the newly announced B200 cluster will be deployed.

In a statement, Sharon AI said the deployment will be delivered under its existing Lenovo TruScale agreement, which will see the company integrate Lenovo’s high-density servers with Vast Data’s high-performance storage fabric.

"This expansion is about more than just raw capacity; it is about providing the specialized, sovereign architectural depth that the next era of AI requires," said James Manning, CEO and chairman of Sharon AI. "By bringing 1,000 B200 GPUs to Australia, we are ensuring that AI natives, research, enterprise, and government organizations in the Asia-Pacific region have immediate access to world-class compute."

Last week, Sharon AI revealed it had secured a $500 million debt facility to expand its AI infrastructure in Australia and the wider Asia Pacific region, shortly following a convertible note capital raise from December 2025, which provided $100m to the company to fund its expansion.

The neocloud also recently reshuffled its senior leadership team, with co-founder and chairman Manning taking over the CEO role from Wolf Schubert.
