Sabey has appointed a new president for its data centers business.
Tim Mirick has replaced outgoing presodent Rob Rockwood, who stepped down from his role at the end of December.
Mirick, who has served as chief revenue officer since 2012, joined Sabey in 2012. He previously held roles at American Express and Amazon.
"I am honored to take on the role of president at Sabey Data Centers and grateful for the trust placed in me by the company,” Mirick said. “Rob Rockwood has been an outstanding leader and built a strong foundation for continued growth. I am excited to lead the team in this new chapter and to continue expanding our capabilities to meet the growing needs of our clients."
Rockwood had led Sabey’s data center business for eight years, joining the company in 2015. Before that he spent a decade at CRG West/CoreSite.
"I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved at Sabey Data Centers over the past eight years,” said Rockwood. “As I step down, I am confident that Tim Mirick’s exceptional leadership and vision will continue to drive Sabey Data Centers forward. I look forward to supporting Tim and the entire Sabey team in their future endeavors."
Sabey Data Centers operates more than four million square feet across the US, with six data center sites across the US in Quincy, Seattle, and East Wenatchee, Washington; New York City; Austin, Texas; and Ashburn, Virginia. The company is a joint venture between Sabey Corporation and National Real Estate Advisors.
“We extend our gratitude to Rob Rockwood for his exceptional leadership and the significant impact he has made at Sabey Data Centers during his tenure,” said Jeffrey Kanne, president and CEO of National Real Estate Advisors. “As we welcome Tim Mirick into this pivotal role, we look forward to working closely with him to drive continued growth and success for Sabey Data Centers.”
