Real estate private equity firm HighBrook Investors is reportedly moving into data center investment.
PERE reports that HighBrook is seeking dedicated capital for its first investment in data centers.
HighBrook declined to comment to Pere, but a source familiar with the matter said the firm is targeting $300 million for a dedicated data center vehicle, alongside $300 million for its upcoming HighBrook Property Fund V.
PERE reported that HighBrook has secured power to develop three data centers on a site in Northern Virginia, close to where the firm owns a portfolio of industrial warehouses.
Founded in 2010, HighBrook has raised four discretionary commingled funds and multiple co-investment vehicles, totaling 75 investments valued at $5 billion, according to its website.
Its investments include logistics and industrial developments in the Netherlands, Minneapolis, and Virginia, as well as residential and office projects in the US and Europe.
