Oracle has unveiled the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Zettascale10 AI supercomputer.

The Zettascale10 supercomputer is comprised of hundreds of thousands of Nvidia GPUs across multiple data centers to form multi-gigawatt clusters. According to Oracle, this can reach up to 16 zettaflops of peak AI performance (typically either FP8 or FP16).

It will be available in the second half of 2026.

The cloud company claims it will be the largest AI supercomputer in the cloud.

The Zettascale10 is built on Oracle's Acceleron RoCE networking infrastructure and uses Nvidia AI infrastructure, which is also the fabric underpinning the OpenAI Stargate cluster in Abilene, Texas.

“OCI Zettascale10 network and cluster fabric was developed and deployed first at the flagship Stargate site in Abilene, Texas – our joint supercluster with Oracle,” said Peter Hoeschele, vice president, infrastructure and industrial compute, OpenAI. “The highly scalable custom RoCE design maximizes fabric-wide performance at gigawatt scale while keeping most of the power focused on compute. We’re excited to keep scaling Abilene and the broader Stargate program together.”

Oracle plans to offer multi-gigawatt clusters of Zettascale10 to customers eventually, but will initially target deployments of 800,000 Nvidia GPUs.

“Oracle and Nvidia are bringing together OCI’s distributed cloud and our full‑stack AI infrastructure to deliver AI at extraordinary scale,” said Ian Buck, vice president of hyperscale, Nvidia. “OCI Zettascale10 provides the compute fabric needed to advance state‑of‑the‑art AI research and help organizations everywhere move from experimentation to industrialized AI.”

Oracle previously announced plans for a zettascale cloud cluster in September 2024. That cluster was set to have 131,072 Nvidia Blackwell GPUs, and launch in the first half of 2025.
