Oracle and Amazon Web Services (AWS) have added eight new locations for their multicloud offering, Oracle Database@AWS.

The new locations include the EU-Central-2 (Zurich), EU-South-1 (Milan), EU-South-2 (Spain), EU-West-3 (Paris), AP-Northeast-3 (Osaka), AP-Southeast-1 (Singapore), AP-Southeast-4 (Melbourne), and SA-East-1 (Sao Paulo) AWS regions.

This brings the total up to 20 global locations.

Oracle Database@AWS enables customers to migrate Oracle Database workloads, including Oracle Exadata and Oracle Real Application Cluster (RAC), to the cloud with a low-latency connection between the databases and applications on AWS. The multicloud solution sees Oracle hardware actually deployed within partner company data centers.

Plans for the offering with AWS were first revealed in September 2024, with it becoming available in "limited preview" from just the US East region that December. In July 2025, the solution was made generally available from the AWS US East and West regions, and has continued to expand its availability.

Oracle has the same multicloud offering in partnership with both Google and Microsoft.

The Google solution became generally available in September 2024, with the two adding more locations in 2025. The latest addition was made in December and brought the offering to Google customers in Canada. Currently, it is offered in 15 locations, with two more planned.

Oracle and Microsoft have a longer-standing relationship, making Oracle Database@Azure available in December 2023. This followed Microsoft signing a multi-year agreement to use Oracle Cloud for AI inference on its Bing search service. Today, it is available in 33 regions.

In March 2026, Oracle launched a new offering to its dedicated region collection dubbed "Hosted Dedicated Region." This sees a dedicated cloud deployed within an existing OCI public region's data center, enabling customers to reduce the time to market and the expansion into new global locations, and helps the company's dedicated Alloy partners launch regions faster and rely on OCI infrastructure to do it.
