A fully occupied office and data center building is up for sale in Columbus, Ohio.
Real estate firm Capitol Equities is offering 101 East Town Street as up for sale. The listing price is $9 million.
Built in 1974 and renovated in 1994 and 2022, the five-story building totals 54,820 sq ft (5,090 sqm) on less than 1 acre.
The building is fully leased to multiple tenants, including a data center, children’s daycare, law firm, as well as a retail customer on the ground floor. The site’s annual rent totals more than $724,000.
The data center occupies the entire third floor – with floorplates on the site each totaling around 10,950 sq ft (1,020 sqm).
Telecoms tower and fiber firm Crown Castle lists the property as one of the 100+ data centers from which it offers colocation services.
According to Baxtel, Crown Castle took over the site as part of its $7.1 billion Lightower acquisition in 2017. Lightower took over the 101 East site from Datacenter101 in July 2016.
