In a day of outages, content delivery and Internet infrastructure companies Cloudflare and Akamai have disclosed that they are experiencing issues with some of their services.
Neither company is suffering from a major outage, but the incidents may cause downstream problems for either services' users.
"Cloudflare is investigating an increased level of HTTP 530 errors," the company said at 15:53 UTC. At 16:29 UTC it added: "The issue has been identified and a fix is being implemented."
Cloudflare's Stream Encoding service is also experiencing elevated errors for on-demand encoding as of 16:08 UTC. "We are working to understand the full impact and mitigate this problem," it said at 16:13 UTC.
As for Akamai, its Web Security Analytics is suffering from delays as of 16:11 UTC. "We are continuing to investigate this issue," the company said.
Both apparently minor issues come after WhatsApp suffered a nearly two-hour outage around the world this morning, and Apple's iMessage and Facetime services went down briefly in North America this afternoon.
Update: E-commerce website Shopify is experiencing an outage with its Admin system, for reasons unknown. "We’ve identified the problem and we’re working on a solution," the company said.
