Japanese operator At Tokyo Corporation (@ Tokyo) is developing a new data center in the Japanese capital.

First reported by Capacity, the company is developing a 25MW facility in central Tokyo that is set to go live in early 2025.

Founded in 2000, At Tokyo offers services from eight facilities across Tokyo (x4), Osaka (x3), and Fukuoka.

One of the largest in the world, the At Tokyo Chuo Center (CC1) spans more than 140,000 sqm and offers 70MW of capacity, while the Tokyo Data Center #2 (DC2) is an underground facility.

At Tokyo’s investors include Tokyo Electric Power (Tepco), Japanese security company Secom, and IT consultancy Intec.
