Ark Data Centers has launched a new data center in Wisconsin.
The company formerly known as Involta this month announced the opening of its 20MW campus in the Green Bay market. Set on 24.5 acres, the facility spans 7,190 sq ft (667 sqm).
Brett Lindsey, Ark CEO, said: "The surge of AI and rapid technological advancements has created unprecedented growth for data center space, power, and compute. Ark meets our customers at the Edge to ensure they have scalable, adaptable infrastructure solutions in key markets across the country."
The company acquired land and a data center in the village of Harrison, just southeast of Appleton, from Kimberly-Clark late last year.
The company also operates in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Iowa, Minnesota, Idaho, and Arizona. It recently announced an expansion of its Tucson, Arizona data center to 1MW and the launch of two Internet Exchanges in Boise, Idaho, and Tuscon, Arizona.
Founded in 2007 through the merger of TRC and CoVault, Ark – then Involta – was acquired by the Carlyle Group in late 2021. It rebranded to Ark earlier this year.
