American Tower Corporation's executive vice president and president for the company's international unit, Olivier Puech, is stepping down from the role.

In an SEC filing last week, American Tower confirmed that Puech will leave his position at the end of this year.

Puech has been in the role since October 2018. He joined the company as senior vice president and CEO of Latin America in 2013.

Prior to joining American Tower, Puech worked at Finnish network vendor Nokia, where he held several leadership roles, including SVP Americas, SVP Asia Pacific, and VP for Latin America.

The company didn't announce a successor, but noted to Telco Titans that a replacement for Puech will be named in "due course."

The US tower company has around 150,000 tower assets globally, with more than 100,000 of these outside of the US.

Earlier this month, it was reported that American Tower is one of several companies in the running to acquire French tower operator TDF Infrastructure.
