Australian neocloud Sharon AI has secured a customer for its AI cloud platform.

The agreement with ESDS Software Solutions is valued at $1.25bn and set to span five years. It will see Sharon AI deploy 8,000 GPUs in an Australian data center.

ESDS is an Indian cloud provider offering PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS, as well as managed services.

ESDS has the option to extend the agreement by a further two years.

The cluster of GPUs set to be deployed by Sharon AI will comprise Nvidia B300s, and will be within one of the data centers in Australia where the company already leases space. Revenue is expected to begin in Q3 2026.

James Manning, co-founder and CEO of Sharon AI, said: “This contract is one of many we have been working on for a period of time, and we are delighted to be delivering this GPU capacity in an Australian data center. We continue to see robust demand across the enterprise, hyperscale, research, government, and AI native sectors, and with additional data center capacity confirmed we look forward to providing additional updates on our strong customer pipeline in due course.”

In Australia, Sharon AI currently leases capacity in Equinix's SYD3 and SYD5 in Sydney, and in NextDC's M3 facility in Melbourne. The neocloud listed on the Nasdaq stock exchange in February 2026 with a $125m IPO.

According to that filing, the company had just 432 GPUs and 195 CPUs online across its footprint in Australia as of September 2025. The company now lists a "supercluster" with 1,000 B200s on its website, which was announced in January 2026 and set to be housed at the NextDC Melbourne location.
