Russ Tipton
Principal Mechanical Engineer, Thermal Advanced Development Group, VertivRuss Tipton is a Principal Mechanical Engineer in Vertiv’s Thermal Advanced Development group. Vertiv is a global leader in designing, building, and servicing critical infrastructure that enables the ICT industry. In this role, he is focused on the logistics of thermal transport from high performance compute heat sources to ambient. By addressing component and subsystem integration, expected results are minimizing energy consumption of the transport process, achieving high system reliability, and achieving compliance with global EH&S directives. He received B.S. in mechanical engineering from University of Pittsburgh, M.S. in mechanical engineering from Ohio University.
