Michael Sagar

Michael Sagar is an energy storage and data center specialist with over 10 years’ of industry experience and is currently working as the senior strategic marketing manager, EMEA & data centers at EnerSys in the UK. 

His qualifications include business management from Cornell University, various product and

project management accreditations, and an MBA in marketing. He is the author of numerous published papers on both data centers and industrial power segments.

Michael has been actively involved in the commercialization of several battery products, including Lithium- based solutions and Lead-based batteries for heavy-duty vehicles. He has overseen successful, global campaigns emphasizing the value of energy storage assets in the data center and the role of batteries in supporting sustainability objectives.

Michael has also introduced solutions highlighting the extended life benefits of continuous battery technology optimization for industrial power and utility applications.
