Josh Smith

Market Development Manager, Data Centers, Corning

Josh Smith currently serves as the Market Development Manager for Data Centers at Corning, where he leads strategic initiatives to support key accounts such as Apple and several innovative NeoCloud (AI-as-a-Service) companies. In his role, Josh drives new advancements that enhance speed of deployment and density within data center environments, while also expanding Corning’s presence through reference architectures and L11 server rack integration. Reporting to Brian Rhoney, Director of Market Development, Josh is dedicated to creating value for end users through transformative data center solutions.

Since joining Corning in 2016 as a Division Quality Engineer, Josh has contributed across multiple engineering disciplines, including Division Quality, Engineering Services, and Application Insight Research (AIR). His most recent position was Solutions Innovation Manager in AIR, where he spearheaded projects focused on delivering cutting-edge solutions. Josh holds a bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
