Bharath Ramakrishnan
Senior Mechanical Engineer, MicrosoftBharath Ramakrishnan received the bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering (BE) from CIT, Coimbatore, India in 2010, the Master’s degree in ME from Auburn University, Auburn, AL, USA, in 2014, and the Ph.D. degree in ME from Binghamton University, Binghamton, NY, USA, in 2019.
He is currently a Mechanical Engineer working with the Microsoft CO&I’s Advanced Development Team, Redmond, WA, USA. His research background is on data center thermal management with an emphasis on all forms of high-density liquid cooling techniques including two phase immersion and microchannel cooling. His recent research interests are into exploring advanced cooling for next generation IC packages at a microlevel and into developing data center waste heat recovery and direct air capture systems at a macrolevel.
