Anil Vijayachandran
Deputy Chief Development Officer, DATAVOLTAnil Vijayachandran is Deputy Chief Development Officer at DataVolt, leading strategic
initiatives across international market development and equity partnerships for investments.
He brings more than 15 years of experience in infrastructure project development, project
financing, and M&A. Prior to joining DataVolt, he headed the business development office at
ACWA Power, managing project development activities across the Middle East, Central
Asia, South-East Asia, and Africa. Before that, he led a project finance team at ACWA
Power, supporting equity and debt fundraising for projects in Saudi Arabia and Central Asia
and raising more than US$20 billion in non-recourse financing from financial institutions and
capital markets.
Earlier in his career, Anil worked as a USAID-appointed consultant supporting the
implementation of IPP/PPP programs for several African governments, and was a project
finance advisor at Synergy Consulting, a leading project finance advisory firm.
He holds a degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering and an MBA.
