At the Huawei Cloud Brazil Summit, themed "Advancing the Agentic World, Inspiring Intelligent Brazil," Huawei Cloud showcased its advances in AI infrastructure, Model as a Service (MaaS), and enterprise-grade AI agent platforms.

The company also announced four strategic priorities to accelerate enterprise AI adoption in Brazil: leverage advanced AI capabilities to accelerate the adoption of AI while ensuring compliance; provide dedicated, locally deployed Huawei Cloud Stack Online (HCSO) to meet data residency and governance requirements and provide isolated runtime environments for mission-critical workloads; provide multiple deployment options to support diverse workloads and become the preferred multi-cloud partner for enterprises in Brazil; and work with local partners to develop end-to-end industry-specific solutions and provide professional local services to drive AI and cloud adoption throughout Brazil.

Huawei has been operating in Brazil for 28 years, working with local customers and partners to advance digital transformation.

Jacky Gao, CEO of Huawei Brazil, said: "Huawei Cloud has grown by 205 percent in Brazil over the past three years, and our MaaS is now serving more than 100 leading local enterprises. As AI moves beyond experimentation and into real-world business applications, Huawei Cloud will continue to enhance AI capabilities, strengthen ecosystem collaboration, and provide secure, easy-to-use cloud platforms and localized services, to help Brazilian businesses turn AI into business value."

Scaling enterprise AI with integrated infrastructure, models, and agents

As AI rapidly advances, many enterprises face challenges in integrating AI models and agents into business workflows in an efficient, secure, and cost-effective manner.

Tim Tao, President of Huawei Cloud Computing Solution Sales, said in his speech: "Huawei Cloud is building an Agentic Cloud for the agentic era. By combining innovative cloud services, diverse AI models, an enterprise-grade agent platform, flexible deployment options, and a strong partner ecosystem, Huawei Cloud aims to lower the barrier to AI adoption and accelerate the large-scale deployment of AI agents."

Huawei Cloud's global infrastructure spans 103 availability zones in 34 geographic regions. In Latin America, Huawei Cloud has the largest number of cloud nodes and the broadest coverage among cloud providers.

In Brazil, Huawei Cloud established a local three-AZ deployment, providing low-latency access to high-availability cloud services. To support the explosive growth of AI, Huawei introduced the world's first 3D data center, increasing the power capacity of a single rack from 80 kW to 300 kW.

The next-generation Atlas 950 AI cluster service can deliver a throughput of up to five million tokens per second to support large-scale concurrent agent workloads and ultra-long context processing.

Huawei Cloud MaaS brings together leading LLMs and multimodal models, giving enterprises easy access to models such as DeepSeek, GLM, and Kimi. With support for context windows of up to one million tokens, these models deliver fast responses for complex AI workloads. More than 100 leading enterprises in Brazil are already using MaaS to deploy AI applications.

Huawei Cloud AgentArts provides an enterprise-grade platform for building, orchestrating, and managing AI agents to handle complex, multi-step tasks, making agent development and operations more accessible.

CodeArts, its AI coding agent, boosts software delivery efficiency through collaboration among specialized agents. OfficeAce, an AI-powered office agent, supports document creation, data analysis, email, and scheduling, bringing AI into everyday enterprise workflows.

Four strategies to support Brazilian enterprises' long-term transformation and growth

Brazilian enterprises are increasingly looking to bring AI into production, strengthen data governance, adopt multi-cloud architectures, and access local professional services. Vitor Zhu, President of Huawei Cloud Brazil, outlined four strategic priorities to help enterprises advance AI innovation while maintaining business continuity, data control, and operational efficiency.

First, Huawei Cloud provides end-to-end AI capabilities spanning computing infrastructure, model development and fine-tuning, agent orchestration, and AI governance and security. These capabilities help customers efficiently develop, deploy, and manage AI agents while leveraging industry-specific solutions to accelerate the large-scale adoption of Agentic AI.

Second, Huawei Cloud provides HCSO to enable enterprises to achieve local deployment and physical isolation, ensuring that data remains within customers' own data centers to meet data security and compliance requirements. HCSO offers more than 100 cloud services, including GaussDB, ModelArts, and DataArts, and provides solutions for VM migration, mainframe modernization, and database cloud transformation, helping enterprises accelerate their cloud and AI journeys.

Third, Huawei Cloud offers a range of deployment options, including public cloud, HCSO, and HCS, to support diverse enterprise workloads. Backed by its local team in Brazil, Huawei Cloud provides consulting, deployment, migration, operations, and AI professional services. Through FinOps practices, the company also helps customers continuously optimize cloud costs and achieve efficient, sustainable cloud adoption.

Fourth, Huawei Cloud continues to strengthen its local ecosystem in Brazil. Working closely with partners across cloud-native and enterprise AI initiatives, the company has developed solutions covering mainframe modernization, core banking systems, multi-cloud connectivity, Portuguese-language LLMs, multimodal applications, and AI agents.

Huawei Cloud also collaborates with partners across six key areas—including security and compliance, cloud services and delivery, and agents and workflows—to provide end-to-end support for accelerating cloud and AI adoption across industries in Brazil.

Guided by its commitment to "In Brazil, For Brazil," Huawei Cloud will continue investing in technology innovation and ecosystem partnerships to support Brazil's digital and intelligent future. By building a solid foundation for enterprise AI innovation, Huawei Cloud is empowering organizations across a wide range of industries to transform with confidence, unlock new opportunities for growth, and capture the full value of AI.
