Toshiba has shipped its latest uninterruptible power system (UPS), targeted at Edge and enterprise IT applications.
The Toshiba 3000 SP UPS will be delivered to customers this month, the Japanese electronics company said.
First announced in May, Toshiba claims the system will deliver “unparalleled reliability and efficiency for mission-critical applications, making it ideal for Edge data centers, enterprise IT systems, and commercial or retail markets.”
It is a modular and scalable UPS supporting both 60/50Hz and 240/120V or 208V/120V applications, and available in capacities of 6/12/18/24kW.
Its architecture features eight universal shelves for either power modules or battery modules within a 30U rack design.
Greg Mack, SVP and general manager of Toshiba’s Power Electronics Division, said: “This latest addition to our UPS portfolio arrives at a critical time, as demand for backup power and AI-driven applications continues to surge. We look forward to helping customers scale their operations effectively and efficiently.”
