Danish engineering and consultancy firm Ramboll has announced it has acquired i3 Solutions Group.
i3 is a data center consulting company with a presence in Singapore and London.
Terms of the transaction were not shared.
The Danish consulting giant said it now has a presence in North America, Europe, and Asia.
“At Ramboll, we operate with the mindset that 100 percent renewably-powered, zero-waste data centers are achievable," said Peter Heymann Anderson, group chief operating officer of Ramboll.
"With i3 Solutions, we get a company on board with deep, technical domain knowledge within data centers, which will strengthen our consultancy within integrated, innovative data center solutions and strengthen Ramboll’s position at the top of the international league of data center consulting companies."
Ed Ansett, founder and chairman of i3 Solutions, added: “Becoming part of Ramboll is a fantastic opportunity to expand the portfolio of consulting engineering services into our existing, global client base, while at the same time bringing our specialist technical expertise into Ramboll’s current and future clients across 35 countries around the world.”
Ramboll’s last acquisition was EYP Mission Critical Facilities in January 2022.
Founded in 1945, the company has more than 10,000 employees operating from 300 offices globally.
