QuEra Computing has made its quantum computer available through Amazon Web Services (AWS).
The company this week announced that Aquila, its first generation 256-qubit quantum computer, is now available via Amazon Braket, AWS’s quantum computing portal.

We look forward to seeing how users from all over the world will utilize this amazing new platform for research and industrial applications.”
Founded in 2019 by Harvard and MIT alumni, Boston-based QuEra Computing Inc. offers neutral-atom-based quantum computing, which is based on programmable arrays of neutral Rubidium atoms, trapped in a vacuum by tightly focused laser beams.

Companies such as IonQ operate their own data center in Maryland while its systems are also accessible through the likes of Azure and Google Cloud. Other quantum companies available through AWS include D-Wave, IonQ, Rigetti, Xanadu, and OQC.
