NEC Corporation is to provide artificial intelligence solutions focused on network infrastructure at Ouribank, a Brazilian financial institution.
The initiative will see AI technologies and automated networks from HPE Juniper Networking and NEC Enterprise Network Services deployed to modernize Ouribank's data center and campus environments, with the aim of promoting greater agility, security, operational efficiency, and automation.
The deployment is part of Ouribank's expansion strategy, in line with increased demand for digital financial services. The aim is to speed up, simplify, and improve network operations at data centers, campuses, and branches, allowing the IT team to focus on strategic initiatives and offering new services to the market with agility and scale. The new infrastructure also enables the development of a disaster recovery site, reinforcing security and reliability for customers.
The solutions adopted - Apstra Data Center Director and Juniper Networks QFX5120 for the data center, as well as the HPE Juniper Networking EX4400-24X and EX4100 models with Juniper Wired Assurance for the campus - were chosen to strengthen the agility and reliability of Ouribank's communications infrastructure.
Luis Eduardo, head of IT at Ouribank, said network solutions from NEC, HP, and Juniper play an essential role in modernizing the bank's technological infrastructure, especially in improving connectivity with public clouds. The use of resources based on artificial intelligence helps to maintain the flexibility and agility required for the institution's operations.
