An office and data center is up for sale in Jackson, Mississippi.
Real estate firm Pinpoint is listing 3455 US-80 in Jackson as up for sale or lease. A listing price wasn’t shared, and the leasing price was listed as "negotiable."
The property is described as a two-story, owner-occupied office totaling 298,000 square feet (27,685 sqm) of rentable area situated on a 30-acre site.
“As a former Saks Fifth Avenue operation center, the building is comprised of storage space, a mail room, multiple conference rooms, ample office, spacious warehouse space, and a state-of-the-art data center,” the listing notes.
Built in 1977, the building was adapted to be “almost completely self-sufficient” after Hurricane Katrina in 2005. The site has a 10,000-gallon emergency water tank and two backup generators with a total of 18,000 gallons of fuel storage.
The size of the data center wasn’t shared.
