Latin American data center operator OData has set its QR02 facility live in Guanajuato, Mexico.
First reported in BN Americas, the QR02 campus is expected to have 30MW at full build-out, but currently offers around half that.
Located in the Amexhe Industrial Park, the facility spans 22,400 sqm (241,100 sq ft) and has a floor space of 12,300 sqm (132,600 sq ft).
There has not yet been an official announcement from OData around the launch of QR02.
OData’s plans to expand its Mexican footprint were first announced in February this year. The company is also expanding its QR01 campus in Querétaro and is building its QR03 campus in El Marques.
Building work on the expansion in Querétaro started last year. Construction on the first building began in 2020 and launched in 2022. At full build-out, the QR01 campus will offer up to 32MW.
In El Marqués, QR03 will offer 150MW and is expected to be complete in Q1 2025.
Founded in 2015 by Brazilian private equity firm Patria Investments, OData was acquired by Aligned in a deal that closed last year.
As well as Mexico, OData offers colocation services from four data center sites in Brazil, two in Chile, and one in Colombia. The company launched a campus in Rio and expanded its Santiago campus last year.
OData also broke ground on its fifth Brazilian data center in the São Paulo metropolitan region last month.
