NTT Global Data Centers (NTT GDC) has purchased an 11-story data center in Mumbai, India.

As reported by The Hindu Business Line, the property, dubbed DC-10, is located in the Balaji IT Park, and was purchased for Rs 559.24 crore ($61.9m).

Previously owned by actor Jeetendra and his son Tusshar Kapoor through the Tusshar Infra Developers Pvt Ltd, the building spans some 30,195 sqm (325,016 sq ft) and comes with an adjacent four-story diesel generator structure.

The deal was registered on January 9, as per documentation.

This is not the first property NTT has acquired in Balaji IT Park, nor is it the company's first time working with the Kapoor family.

In June 2025, NTT acquired a 2.39-acre site in the IT Park that included three buildings for Rs 855 crore ($99.7m). That property was also purchased from Tusshar Infra Developers Private Limited.

At the time of the June acquisition, NTT said it was part of the company's "accelerated global expansion."

A Japanese company, NTT has a notable presence across India, having acquired India-based NetMagic in 2012. NTT now has more than 18 data centers in operation or development across India, totaling more than 265MW across the Noida area of Delhi (x2), Mumbai (x7), Chennai (x2), Kolkata, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru (x3).

Mumbai is one of India's largest data center markets. Other areas of the country seeing interest from operators include Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Chennai, among others.
