NextDC and PCCW Global are collaborating to expand data center and cloud access for Australian customers.

The deal involves pairing PCCW's Console Connect Network-as-a-Service platform and NextDC's virtual interconnectivity platform, AXON.

A customer linking to one or the other will have access to either party's portfolio of connections.

NextDC’s data centers consist of nine facilities across Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, and Canberra, Australia. With the AXON platform, customers from PCCW will have access to more than 350 data centers in over 40 countries across Asia, the Americas, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.

Console Connect offers pay-as-you-go pricing for on-demand bandwidth between Australia and Asian markets like Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, and Singapore.
