Modine has launched new air cooling units for Edge data centers.

The company this week announced the launch of its updated range of Computer Room Air Conditioners (CRAC) and Air Handlers (CRAH) for North American Edge data centers, under its Airedale by Modine brand.

"Edge computing environments require precision cooling that's both reliable and scalable. Our new EdgeDX and EdgeAire systems deliver exactly that, high-performance solutions for latency-sensitive applications."

EdgeDX CRAC units offer 30-95kW of cooling capacity, while the EdgeAire CRAH offers 50-300kW of cooling capacity.

Modine acquired Airedale in 2005, with the company now one of the largest end-to-end cooling solutions providers in the data center industry. The company also offers technologies for liquid cooling.
