Duos Edge AI has opened a 450kW Edge facility in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Located at 717 N. Tancahua Street, the data center is aimed at education, healthcare, and business workloads, and is the same facility mentioned in a previous announcement last July.

Duos said in its Wednesdaypress release that it was hosting an open house for the data center next week on May 12.

It is unclear whether Duos brought the facility online this month, as previous reporting indicated that the modules were set to be delivered by the end of July 2025.

DCD has reached out to Duos for comment.

Duos has previously deployed modules in Texas around Amarillo, Victoria, Waco, and Dumas, and most of these modules are placed next to school districts.

Duos Edge AI was founded in 2024 by Duos, a vision-based technology firm focused on automating inspections of trains, trucks, and automobiles in motion.

The new business is led by EdgePresence and Colo5 founder Recker, and the company’s Edge data centers contain 15 cabinets housed in a 55ft by 13ft (13m by 4m) pod and are reportedly able to support up to 100kW per rack.

Corpus Christi is a coastal city in South Texas. Although the city is not a major data center hotspot, both Lumen and Hut 8 have facilities in the surrounding area, according to Data Center Map.

Update:

The Corpus Christi facility has been operational and live since March 2026, according to a Duos representative.
