A data center has been converted back into a warehouse and sold in Hanover, Maryland.

Colliers announced it facilitated the $13 million sale of 7150 Standard Drive to Distribution by Air, a shipping company that is part of Radiant Logistics.

Set on more than eight acres, the 66,590 sq ft vacant warehouse and distribution center was originally built in 1972. It was later converted into a data center, but reverted back to its original warehouse configuration prior to this sale.

Online listings and logos visible on Google Maps suggest AT&T was previously a tenant of the facility. It's unclear when the telco exited the site.

Colliers team brokered the deal for Rialto Capital-managed vehicles. Rialto acquired the site in 2018 for $5.5 million as part of a nine-building industrial sale.

“The demolition, transformation, and marketing of this property wouldn’t be possible without Rialto, and together, we successfully repositioned this property in the marketplace with limited downtime,” said Thomas Gentner, EVP at Colliers.

Matthew Curran, SVP and principal at MacKenzie Commercial Real Estate Services, said the property will allow DBA to consolidate three existing facilities under one roof.
