Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) threatened to attack G42's giant planned data center in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The 10-square-mile (25.9 sq km) UAE-US AI Campus is currently under construction, with up to 1GW set to go to OpenAI under its Stargate initiative. The wider campus could grow to as much as 5GW.

In a video on X, Iran's Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters said: "Nothing is hidden from our sight. All ICT companies in the region will be considered legitimate targets for us."

The video then zoomed into the Abu Dhabi Stargate site, with a picture highlighting the US execs involved in the project - including OpenAI's Sam Altman and Nvidia's Jensen Huang. However, it incorrectly named a few execs, including calling Cisco's Jeetu Patel the CEO of Microsoft, Satya Nadella.

The threats, which come as the Iran war shows no sign of easing, come after Iran hit several AWS data centers in the UAE and Bahrain. Shrapnel also hit an Oracle facility.

The US and Israel have also targeted Iranian data centers, while US President Trump has threatened to attack power infrastructure.
