Enterprise cloud data management company Informatica has established a Microsoft Azure pod in Canada.
The pod will enable Informatica customers in Canada that use the Azure Ecosystem to access Informatica's Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC).
Informatica says the IDMC handles complex and fragmented data estates, providing integration, observability, governance, and privacy using the artificial intelligence (AI) engine 'Claire.'
Through Claire, IDMC currently processes 71 trillion cloud transactions per month, a number that represents a 60 percent increase year-over-year.
Informatica says IDMC improves analytics and AI workloads on Azure by ensuring data is high quality and trustworthy. Customers can now access IDMC as an Azure Native Service purchased through the Azure Marketplace.
Informatica has customers in more than 100 countries. The Azure pod in Canada follows similar investments in the UAE, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Germany.
