A data center with office space previously occupied by CenturyLink is up for sale in New Century, Kansas.
The turnkey facility, located at 600 New Century Parkway, is being listed by Newmark Zimmer via Loopnet for $12.5 million.
The building is set on 45.7 acres in Gardner’s New Century AirCenter business park. The offering includes 456,300 sq ft (42,392 sqm) of space across five stories and features a lobby, conference center, cafeteria, and 1,150 parking spaces.
The data center spans 35,000 sq ft (3,250 sqm). The facility has access to two 750kW generators, though other specifications have not been shared.
Built in 1982, the facility was designed and built for the North Supply Company (CenturyLink).
CenturyLink received millions of dollars in Kansas economic development incentives but did not renew its lease at the Kansas data center in 2019, according to a report from the Kansas City Star.
The building has remained vacant since.
Kansas is currently home to operators such as Iron Mountain, Databank, Verizon, and QTS.
