Edged has launched its 130MW Bilbao-Arasur data center campus in Bilbao, Spain.

In a LinkedIn post, the company said the facility was developed in collaboration with Merlin Properties.

The campus comprises three buildings - BIL01, BIL02, and BIL03 - offering 60MW, 48MW, and 22MW respectively.

The campus has a PUE of 1.15 and uses waterless cooling throughout. The company has also installed solar glass across the facility and standby HVO generators.

Other specifications have not been shared.

Real estate firm Merlin and Edged are also jointly developing a campus in Lisbon, Portugal, set to go live in 2027.

Formed in 2021, Edged also has three other operational Spanish facilities in Barcelona, Madrid, and the greater Bilbao area.

In the US, Edged is rapidly building out a large footprint. The company has projects in development across Missouri, Arizona, Texas, Iowa, Ohio, Arizona, and Illinois. It launched a facility in Atlanta, Georgia, in August.

Other operators in the Bilbao region include Telxius and EXA Infrastructure.
